A wood-fired Neapolitan pizza with a leopard-charred crust, tomato, mozzarella and fresh basil

Ciao Comparù!! 🍕

Made with love.

Authentic Italian pizzeria. Hand-stretched dough, San Marzano tomatoes, a real wood-fired oven, made by Lorenzo and Nozomi on Clark Avenue.

Our story

❤️ Made with love. 🇮🇹 Authentic Italian pizzeria.

Comparù is a husband-and-wife kitchen: chef Lorenzo behind the oven, Nozomi front of house, tucked a little off the beaten path in Niagara Falls, a few minutes' walk from the tourist strip on Clifton Hill. No shortcuts, no reheats: every base is hand-stretched to order and blistered in a real wood-fired oven, finished with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh basil, and whatever's ripest that week.

It's a small room with a handful of tables, the kind of place regulars find once and then never let go of. Since opening, word has spread the old-fashioned way: from one table to the next.

Everything on the menu is made from scratch, in small batches, the same way Lorenzo learned it. Nothing frozen, nothing rushed.

A fresh slice of wood-fired pizza

What Niagara is saying

The pizza rivals and surpasses some we've eaten in Italy. The crust is perfectly crisp yet fluffy, the sauce is authentic and delicious, and the toppings were fresh and top quality.

RestaurantGuru review

One of the greatest pizza experiences I've had, probably the best since I was last in Italy.

Really, really good pizza, just like you'd have in Italy. Chef Lorenzo puts his heart into every pie, and he and Nozomi couldn't be more gracious hosts.

Tripadvisor review

A hidden gem, worth going a little out of your way for.

The best pizza in Niagara. Fresh toppings, real wood-fired crust, you can taste the difference.
